What color accessories to use for a little black dress?

My husband is graduating from a military school next month and I found a cute casual black dress for the ceremony. (no tattoo showing/no cleavage/knee length/cap sleeve/ribbon waist detail) Im unsure what color shoes and handbag to opt for though. The graduation is mid morning – mid afternoon, so I don’t want to look too glam. Oh, and what about hosiery? Any suggestions?

Black cocktail dress to a fall evening wedding?

I will be attending an outdoor fall evening wedding in late October. I have a wonderful black cocktail dress that I would like to wear. I also would need to pair it with a cardigan to keep me warmer in the outdoor ceremony. What color should I pair with? I was thinking maybe a rust or something to go with the fall colors, but would that look good with the dress? Help!

well since it is a evenng wedding a black dress would be fine, maybe a wrap or a shall instead would be more appropriate and not take away from the dress’ beauty. one in a beautiful accent color could liven up a dress and add a punch of color.
