Before going for a bikini wax, make sure you know what type of wax you want. Do you want to remove certain areas of hair or remove the whole lot? What’s the occasion? Do think carefully before heading to the salon! The different types are the following:

Regular Bikini Wax: This wax removes the hair outside the panty line and is ideal for when it’s your first ever bikini wax, or are just looking for a clean up.

The Full Bikini Wax takes the sides of the bikini line deeper than a regular bikini wax, and can also include waxing some hair on top to make a more defined ‘triangle’ area, or trimming down the hair left shorter. Women choose this type of wax if they still want to keep hair, but want more definition than a clean-up.

french bikini Wax: Takes all hair off the in the front (except a small strip) and continues to right before the back. It doesn’t take hair off from the back like a Brazilian.

Brazilian Bikini Wax: Takes all hair off the bikini line, front all the way to the back. Sometimes a small strip or triangle is left in the front. This type of wax is ideal for when you want to wear a thong bikini, or want to be completely or almost hairless at the front and back.

Once you get home, leave the hair for three days before washing to allow the bonds to set properly. Tip your head back when you wash your hair. Gently massage the scalp. Do not use a scrubbing motion. Always dry the hair and bonds completely.

Well, it sometimes happens thongs show up over the top of pants….especially when a person sits/crouches down. It probably is not done on purpose, but I don’t think either that it looks that terribly bad. People just don’t care if it (the thong) is showing a little, a lot, or at all.  But during summer, you often see very thin see-through white pants/dresses, and people purposely wear black thongs underneath, cause (yes, admit it) some people like it how they show through….so what? Everyones tastes are different.

Why are women embarrassed when you see them wear their Panties but not in a Bikini?

This discussion was started at work. Why are women embarrassed when you catch them in their Bra or Panties. But flaunt their bodies in a two piece Bikini? I know its confusing, right? The women at work also seemed to be baffled.

I don’t know. It makes no sense. The only difference between a bikini and underwear is the material they’re made from. One is just as revealing as the other. You are just as naked and exposed in a bikini as you are in your underthings.

It’s probably because when you’re out on the beach in your suit, everyone else around you is running around mostly naked too so you don’t feel out of place or unduly exposed. But if someone catches you in your underwear, you are usually not at the beach or surrounded by other mostly naked people, so you feel more exposed even though it’s the same darn thing.

The human psyche is a strange, complex thing.
